Microsoft Cortana Appears as a Separate App on Microsoft Store
Indicating that its Voice Assistant app is not always built-in, Microsoft is planning to pursue Cortana as a separate app in the Windows Store.
The Corge has speculated a Cortana beta appeared in the Microsoft Store on Friday.
Software giants are using this beta app to update Cortana separately from Windows 10, so digital assistants can quickly get new features, but Step clearly tells that digital assistants did not eventually create Windows 10 can go.
Rumors of Cortana's Microsoft Disturbance first started on Windows 10 when software chief removed Cortana from the search in the May 2019 update.
However, Cortana was always built as a web-based service, so it can be updated without core Windows 10 changes.
So far, it is not immediately clear what Microsoft planned here, but it is probably linked to the upcoming beta phase of the next Windows 10 Update Code-19H2.
It has been said in the report that Microsoft has planned to start the trial of 19H2 and originally promised the testers to release the spring.
The company is surprisingly quiet about what is included in the 19H2, but it is expected to come with a full Linux kernel at the end of this year.
It has been said in the report that Microsoft has started moving ahead of its first 2020 Windows 10 update from 19H2.
