Overloading may lead to penalty FASTag-
According to NHAI, if there is up to 20 per cent overload on a commercial vehicle, 20 to 40 per cent overload is doubled from the vehicle owner, six times over 40 to 60 per cent overload, eight times at 60 to 80 per cent and 80 to 100 per cent. Fines of up to ten times will be charged on overload. For this, tools such as weighing machines are being installed on the toll, then the toll amount will be deducted automatically by estimating the weight of the truck.
