Queensland vs South Australia

Queensland completed a comfortable 43-run victory over South Australia in Gabba, Brisbane, in a low scoring affair. South Africa's victory over South Africa in the 7th wicket was likely on Jake Lehmann's batting, but South Africa scored a total of just one run overnight.

Nick Winter (21 *) and Joe Mennie added 35 runs for the ninth wicket to keep the hopes of South Australia alive, but eventually the menie and Luke Robbins were dismissed shortly after the dismissal. Eventually, South Australia was stacked on 131 runs - which was ironic that it was the highest score of the match. For his match figures of 6 for 6, Luke Feldman was named as Man of the Match.

New south wales v victoria

The draw continued for the second day as the hosts went ahead after finishing the second day's play in the Dynamo Aval. Starting its overnight score of 7 for 97, the tail of NSW helps them finish up to 135 runs, which is a modest first innings of 29 runs. Former Australia wicketkeeper batsman Peter Neville was unbeaten on 33, while John Holland took 5 wickets for the visitors. Victoria's second innings was a mirror image of his first fight with only Marcus Harris (29) and Nick Maddison (33).

4 wickets at 44 runs, put the innings in jeopardy and needed a half-century shift of Matt Short to keep Victoria in the game. Day two was surprised by the rain and when the stump was finally called for a bad light, the audience got 159, 130 runs for 7 wickets on 7 wickets. Once again, Harry Conway was excellent and he took five wickets in his second innings with three more in the second innings.

Brief Score: Victoria 106 and 159/7 (Matt Short 50, Nick Maddison 33, Harry Conway 3/29) beat New South Wales 135 (Daniel Hughes 45, Peter Neville 33 *, John Holland 5/31) by 130 runs .

Tasmania vs Western Australia

Following a solid batting performance first-innings, an equally disciplined bowling performance was performed as Western Australia kept complete control over Tasmania in their Sheffield Shield encounter in the Blondstone Arena, Hobart. Resuming its overnight score of 334 for 7, the visitors completed their five-wicket victory with Jackson Bird, who was dismissed for 367.

Tasmania started his reply with opener Jordan Silk (26) and Alex Doolan (46) to add 84 runs for the first wicket. However, the dismissal of Dolan opened the flood in the form of a stumbling host. Apart from Matthew Wade (38) and to some extent Tim Paine (26), none of the other batsmen showed the determination to spend time in the middle because the hosts were dismissed by 197 runs. Wickets were shared between Joel and five bowlers. Paris and Mitchell Marsh are taking three Apache.

After deciding against implementing the follow-on, visitors ended up without any loss 2 days, a total increase of 172 runs.

Brief Score: Western Australia 367 (Josh Philips 76, Hilton Cartwright 66, Jackson Bird 5/70) and 2/0 Head Tasmania 197 (Alex Doolan 46, Matthew Wade 38, Joel Paris 3/33, Mitchell Marsh 3/21) 172 Run
