Samsung has launched a new variant of the Samsung Galaxy M30, the M30s and its sale starts September 29. Samsung has packed this smartphone with some top-end specifications with the 6000mAh battery being the highlight.
First the key specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M30s: The display is a 6.4-inch super AMOLED Infinity U display. The screen to body ratio is a high 91%. The peak brightness is 420nits.
As you would expect, Samsung has fitted its inhouse Exynos 9611 octa core processor with the Mali G-72 MP3 GPU for graphics support. The RAM comes in two variants, 4GB and 6GB and the corresponding internal storage will be 64GB and 128GB, respectively. There is a provision for a microSD card that can offer additional storage of 512GB. One UI based on Android 9.0 Pie will be the OS.
It is the camera section that Samsung has put a lot of effort. You have a triple camera setup with the 48MP primary sensor with a 5MP depth sensor on top and an 8MP wide angle camera positioned below forming a vertical line. Some of the features include Night Mode, Ultra-wide Mode, Bokeh effect with live portraits. The other features include 4K recording, Hyperlapse, Super Slow Motion etc.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s comes in three colours: Opal Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. As mentioned, the battery is 6,000mAh in rating and is supplied with a 15W Type C fast charger. Samsung assured the device of 29 hours of video playback and 49 hours of voice calls. You can play music alone for over 130 hours without going out of battery charge.
The Samsung Galaxy M30s 4GB/64GB will be sold for Rs 13,999 and the 6GB/128GB variant at Rs 16,999. Amazon and Samsung’s site are two online platforms from where you can buy this smartphone, once sale starts on September 29.
