PewDiePie, the real name Felix Kjellberg, was struggling with T-Series to maintain top position for several months. On Sunday, he posted a video congratulating his opponent.

He also cast some shadow on the Bollywood-theme channel.

He said, "It was a huge corporate entity with every song of Bollywood," he sang in the video referring to his defeat.

On Monday morning, T-Series PewDiePie had about 15,500 customers, more than 92 million subscribers.

Although in the afternoon PewDiePie was in Lead, there were 34,400 more customers than T series.

In recent months, supporters of PewDiePie did many publicity efforts on their behalf.

These include:

Partner YouTuber Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson and friends were wearing PewDiePie T-shirts in the American Body Bowl.
A couple of fans hacked thousands of printers who then printed messages asking people to subscribe to PewDiePie's channel.
PewDiePie's customer count increased when Tesla chief Elon Musk co-hosted a version of his meme review show with cartoon series Ricky and Morty co-producer Justin Rhyland.
T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar recently told BBC News that he had not seen his channel competing with Mr. Keelberg.

"I am not really worried about this race. I do not even know why PewDiePie is taking it so seriously," he told India's reporter South Biswas.

"I have not asked my castors to provide supportive messages to promote our followers on our channel. We are not in that game."

T-Series was started by Mr. Kumar's father in 1983 as a production company. The company recorded devotional music and sold tracks on cassettes. It added its first video to YouTube in 2011.

Mr. Kejelberg launched PewDiePie eight years ago and became the world's highest paying YouTuber.
Regardless of their success, the most subscribed channel on YouTube remains the platform itself. Its music video channel has over 105 million followers.
