Is there a ban on TikTok in India? In the beginning of this week, the Madras High Court asked the central government to "ban pornography" to ban the download of viral video sharing networks. The court said that the children who were using Ticket were insecure due to exposure to sex poachers. TikTok was quick to respond to the court order saying, "Review the matter and take appropriate action."
This is not the first time that TikTok has created a flak with its poor content moderation. Earlier this year, Tamil Nadu's IT Minister M Manikandan described some material on Tikkong as "unmanageable". Last year, Indonesia had banned Tikkoc on a similar basis. Later, the ban was lifted after the promise of taking action against the inappropriate material by TikTok.

In addition to the iPhone XR discount, Apple has also dropped prices of Apple Music in India. Taking on Spotify, the monthly membership of Apple Music starts at Rs 99 now. It is now cheaper than Spotify.
