Google Assistant will now read the message on WhatsApp, users will also be able to reply by speaking.

Google Assistant will now read the text messages on WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack to the users. For this, the user has to activate the Google Assistant and give the command of read my message.

Google Assistant will now read the text messages on WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack to the users. Along with this, you will also be able to reply with the help of Google Assistant. With the help of Google Assistant, users could read messages only while coming on Android messaging app. Now after the new update, Google Assistant will read the messages on other apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and Google Assistant Groupme and listen to the users.

You will be able to use this feature in this way

Google Assistant will have to give permission to those apps for Google to read the text on your WhatsApp and other third party messaging apps. After this, Google Assistant will have to activate and give the command of Read My Message. This feature of Google Assistant was first spotted by Android Police. According to the Android Police report, Google Assistant will read the same message and not read by the user and its notification is on his phone.

Let us know that before reading the message that Google Assistant will give you, it will tell which app you have received the message on. After that he will ask the users whether you want to hear the message or not. Here, Google Assistant will read the message only when users answer yes. After this, the Voice Assistant of Google will ask for feature reply and will send your spoken message in text form. With this, if users get a message image or video, then they will also inform the user about it.

According to the report, currently this feature is for smartphones running on Android operating system. You can check whether this feature of Google is working on your smartphone or not. Keep in mind that for this, there should be messages on the notification bar of your smartphone.

Google Assistant can now read WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack messages out loud, and also reply to them. Earlier, the tech giant's voice assistant was restricted to only read SMS texts sent through the original messaging app, but now the feature also supports third-party communication applications. This includes GroupMe, Discord, Slack, Telegram, WhatsApp, and more. To try this new feature, users have to activate Google Assistant on their Android phones, and the command has to say 'read my messages'.

You can see if this feature works for you by activating Google Assistant and commanding it to 'read my messages'. Make sure you have unread messages waiting for your notifications to work. Google Assistant will read messages one by one and read it aloud. It will show you the message in the form of a card, and will tell you who and from which app the message is from, and then ask you if you want to hear it. If you say that the message 'yes' will be read aloud. In the case of an audio, video, or an image, the assistant will simply say 'the message contains audio / video / or a photo', and will not play media for you.

Once the text message is read aloud, the assistant will ask you if you want to reply. Then you can speak your message, and the assistant will convert it into text and send it to the group / person. If there are multiple messages, Google Assistant will prompt you all until the list is finished. Once all messages are read out loud and replies are sent, the assistant will inform the user that 'it was final'.

This useful feature is now visible on Android phones, and it seems to have rolled a few days ago. We can also see it on our Android 9.0 pie-running phone. Android police was the first to report about it.
