K-Pop singer Suli was found dead on October 14 at her residence in Sujong-gu in Seongnam, South Korea's Gyeonggi Province, The Mirror reported, citing police. She was 25 years old. Police officials confirmed Sully's death, but no further details have been provided so far.

Sully's manager was trying to contact her, but could not make contact, after which he went to her residence and found her dead. Sully was born on 29 March 1994 in Busan, South Korea as Choi Jin-ri. She was a member of the K-pop band f (x).

Media reports said that Sully stopped work in 2014 because she could not face online exploitation. Sully's break was to last a year but she left the group in 2015 to pursue a career in acting.

However, Sully resumed music three years later with a feature on Dean's 2018 single Dayfly. In June 2019, she made her debut with the solo album Goblin.

Sully started working in television drama in 2005, as she made her debut with the Bollywood Sedong drama. She also appeared in the films Fashion King (2014) and Real (2017).

Sully also won the New Star Award in 2012 for her role in the television show To the Beautiful You.

The Mirror reports that Sully was battling a panic disorder and recently talked about it on a reality show. "Even close people left me. I was hurt by them and realized that there is no one who understands me, who separated me," Sully was quoted as saying.
