CONSTITUTION @ 70 students aware of constitutional values
Republic Day 2020 Special: India today is celebrating the 71st Republic Day on 26 January 2020. Serious efforts have also been made recently for awareness and publicity of the Constitution. The We The People campaign, which started in the year 2019, is also a link to this campaign, which was run in collaboration with the Delhi government. This campaign of 'Constitution @ 70' was launched on the 70th anniversary of the Republic of India. More than a million students from class 6 to 9 and 11 from 1024 government schools participated in this. The mission lasted till the Constitution Day of 26 November 2019.

It started with the platform of Citizen Adda, a partnership of 25 organizations of the country. Their aim was to promote the values of freedom, equality and brotherhood among the youth.
At the same time, young citizens were sensitive to constitutional values and rights. Short films highlighting the importance of rights and duties also awakened the youth. Along with online dissemination, the youth spoke to the group workshop through dialogue and discussion.

At the start of the Republic Day parade ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the National War Memorial near India Gate and pay tribute to the martyrs on behalf of the grateful nation.
