Barmer Hill Top: Airforce truck plunges into 100 feet deep gorge, 3 soldiers martyr
On Thursday, an Air Force truck fell victim to the hill top of Chauhatan area in Barmer district of Rajasthan. The truck fell into a ditch about 100 meters deep. In the accident, three soldiers (3 Jawans) martyr on the spot and five others were injured.

On Thursday, an Air Force truck fell victim to the hill top of the Chauhatan area of Barmer district of Rajasthan. The truck fell into a ditch about 100 meters deep. At the time of this accident, a total of 8 soldiers were in the truck. Three of these jawans (3 Jawans) martyr on the spot and five others were injured. Immediately after the accident, Air Force and Airport officials arrived at the scene and the injured were admitted to the hospital. Two of these jawans have been referred to Barmer Hospital in critical condition where they are undergoing treatment.

According to the information, the Air Force truck was coming down from Chauhatan Hill Top, during which the truck became unbalanced due to the damaged road. And fell into a deep gorge 100 feet below. Currently, after this painful accident, the truck is being pulled out of the ditch with the help of local people.
Preparation to refer Jodhpur to Barmer
After the information of the accident, Barmer in-charge Secretary Veena Pradhan, District Collector Himanshu Gupta, Superintendent of Police Shivraj Meena reached the State Hospital and inquired about the well being of the injured soldiers. Also instructed the medical officers for better treatment. According to the information, due to the critical condition, the injured soldiers are now being considered to refer to Jodhpur.
