Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has died at the AIIMS Hospital in Delhi at the age of 67. According to media reports, he was admitted to the AIIMS in Delhi after a heart attack.

On Tuesday, August 6, Sushma Swaraj congratulated the Modi government on the passing of the Jammu and Kashmir State Reorganization Bill from the Lok Sabha. In his last tweet, Swaraj wrote, 'Prime Minister your hearty greetings. I was looking forward to seeing this day in my life. '




Sushma Swaraj was a very big face of Indian politics. In 2009, she was elected the Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament by the Bharatiya Janata Party, due to which she was the Leader of the Opposition in the fifteenth Lok Sabha of India. Even before this, she had lived in the Central Cabinet and was also the Chief Minister of Delhi.

Born in Ambala Cantonment, Sushma Swaraj received a BA from SD College Ambala Cantonment and a law degree from Punjab University Chandigarh. After completing his studies, he took part in the movement of Jayaprakash Narayan first. After strongly opposing the Emergency, she joined active politics. In 2014, she became the first woman foreign minister of India.
