Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is going to have a big event in Beijing, China today. In this event, many products will be launched. In today's event, the much awaited Redmi Note 8 series will be launched by Redmi. In addition, the company will also launch its first smart TV i.e. Redmi TV. Apart from this, an upgraded version of the existing RedmiBook 14 will also be launched.
The launch event of Redmi will begin at 2pm (local time 11.30am IST). The launch event can also be seen live on the company's official website. Even before the launch, some special information about the Redmi Note 8 series, Redmi TV and the new RedmiBook 14 has been revealed.
Almost all the information of Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro has been leaked before the event. Photos of both these upcoming smartphones have also been revealed. To mention their special features, the primary camera in the rear of Note 8 will be 48MP, while the primary camera of Note 8 Pro will be 64MP. The rest of the cameras in this series will be super wide angle, depth of field and super macro.
Both smartphones will get a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Talking about hardware, Redmi Note 8 will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, while Note 8 Pro will get MediaTek Helio G90T processor. Before the launch, information about their price and variants was also leaked.
According to the leaked reports, Redmi Note 8 will come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants and will be priced at RMB 1,799 (about Rs 18,000) and RMB 2,099 (about Rs 21,000) respectively. At the same time, Redmi Note 8 will be introduced in 4GB + 64GB variants and its price will be up to RMB 1,199 (about 12,000 rupees). However, all these information and prices have not been confirmed by the company yet, so in this case we will have to wait till the launch event.
