WhatsApp tips and tricks: How to share WhatsApp Status directly to Facebook Story
Whatsapp started testing a new feature last week, allowing users to share WhatsApp Status directly on Facebook Story. Whatsapp is said to use the Data-Sharing API, which allows data to be shared between two apps without a link. In addition, the data remains on the transfer device.
This feature is not completely exhausted and is now limited to What'sapp's Android beta users. Here's how the latest WhatsApp feature works.
Step 1: Since this is still in the testing phase, you can try this feature by joining Whatsapp's beta program through the Google Play Store.
Step 2: After installing the latest beta, open WhatsApp on your phone.
Step 3: Scroll to the Status tab and upload a video or image as your new status.
Step 4: Once you post the status, you will see "Share to Facebook Story" soon after a share icon. Tap on the button.
Step 5: Similar to sharing links on Chrome, you can share your image or video with Facebook Story and other apps on Facebook.
Note that the feature is still under testing and can not function properly on some devices.
