‘Fuchsia OS’ finally starts taking shape Google’s Android replacement
Google is now becoming more transparent about its much anticipated Fusia OS, also known as Android Replacement. The company has now started a dedicated website for developers. The website also gives some important information about the new operating system.
For starters, Google says that its Fukia OS is not Linux. The new operating system is based on Zircon Micro Kernel which also implements the core drivers and the libido of Fukia. According to GSMArena, Google's new OS is scalable and well optimized for many devices including phones, tablets and PCs.
Google is largely tight about its FUSCA OS. Early this year, Android chief Hiroshi Lockhemer revealed that the purpose of Fukiya is to bring uniformity between all types of devices.
"We are seeing what could be a new one on the operating system. And so I know people are getting very excited to say, 'Oh this is new Android,' or, 'this is the new Chrome OS,' "Lockhemer said.
"Fukiya is not really about that." Fukiya is about to pursue the state of art in terms of operating systems and things that we learn from Fukiya, we can get involved in other products, "he said.
Beyond official or beta release, Fusia has done many performances on the web. Last year, an entry on a source code management site for Fuchsia Gerrit, OS revealed that the operating system was successfully booted on Honor Play, which is operated by the Kirin 970 processor.
However, the OS is expected to provide an initial incentive from the latest developer website. Platform developers will be able to start Fusia preparations and make their existing Android app compatible with the upcoming OS. This will ultimately help Google to successfully migrate Android's Play Store in Fukia's App Store, in which case Fuşi will be chief.
