According to police, nine people have died after a shooting in Dayton in Ohio. Dayton police say the suspect is also dead. Sixteen additional people were injured in El Paso, Texas, in the incident that occurred within 13 hours of being shot by 20 people.
Dayton's shooting took place around 1 a.m. east of the 5th Street in the city of Oregon, a popular city area, Dayton Deputy Director and Assistant Police Chief Lieutenant Colonel Matt Carper told reporters on Sunday morning.
The suspect, who shot dead the answer officers, has not yet been identified, but Carpar said that the subject did "long gun" with many rounds.

Police believe the suspect acted alone and poses no threat to the community, but the investigation is ongoing, Kaeper said. The FBI is assisting in the investigation, Kaeper said. The motive of the shooting was not immediately clear.
Although many were killed or injured, Cappar said that the incident had ended soon, because the officials were already patrolling the surrounding area when pills started running.
